Stained glass suncatcher of Flannel flowers.
The Flannel flowers are made with new opaque glass and the background has clear antique Flannel flower textured glass.
The Flannel flower glass was made in the early 1900s, specifically for the Australian market. It only had a short production span from around 1900-1910 as the cast iron rollers with the pattern were melted to assist in WW1.
This glass is rare and hard to find, and quite expensive when found. So this suncatcher is priced accordingly as it has 2 large pieces of this precious glass in it.
Added detail of solder beads texture around the flower centre.
Silver solder lines and attached with a silver coloured chain for hanging.
Size diameter approx 15.5cm x 26cm
