Antique glass: green Flannel flower

Flannel flower glass hasn't been made since 1910-1915

It only had a short production time. The heavy cast iron rollers with the pattern on it had to be melted to aid the WW1 efforts. This pattern of glass is highly sought after.

Pendant is made with repurposed glass crystal beads from vintage European chandeliers.

The history of this piece of green Flannel flower is that is has been removed from a federation style cottage in Melbourne. The owners were renovating the house and these windows were removed incl  with blue and yellow Flannel flower.
