A stained glass suncatcher of a honeypossums midnight snack under the the full moon with the Banksia's beauty shining bright.

This series is inspired by my love for Australian flora and fauna. I hope to bring joy and appreciation for the beauty of our unique creatures and the magic of light into your home.

Stained glass suncatcher of a Honeypossum/ Noolbenger on a Banksia.

💙it's the tiniest marsupial in the world.

🩵it consumes 13 ounces of nectar a day, the equilibrium ofb50L of soda for a human

💛it only weighs 7-10 grams

💙it's mostly nocturnal, that's why I chose a night setting for this suncatcher.

💛the Joey's are the size of a grain of rice!

🤎they are not a possum, and neither do they eat honey.

The full moon is created with vintage glass, a pattern named Cosmos, that resembles the craters of the moon. This glass is no longer in production.

The Banksia and Honeypossum are made with an opaque glass that glows beautifully in the sunshine. For the night background I used a transparent deep blue glass.
